Each ISP provides at least 33.6Kbps modem transfer and many local dial-ups are now offering even faster 56Kbps accounts (actual receiving speed depends on your modem speed and the quality of phone lines delivering the signal). 56Kbps accounts with Epoch include 60 hours/month at the same flat rate as unlimited accounts, with $1.50/hr charge after 60 hours. Unlimited access at 33.6 Kbps is still available in all areas. Companies selected are able to add customers without being overcrowded, and most cities offer more than one ISP in order to handle rapid growth. All providers are established companies that have proven successful in securing the latest technology and most dependable backbone systems.
With the cooperation of several companies, more than 1100 local access numbers are available through Synergy Consultants. That’s more than AOL or any other service provider, yet because each provider is a mid-size company, you will not be lost in the problems of overcrowding or lost e-mail connected with mega-providers.
All billing and technical service for the nationwide referral program
is handled through Synergy Consultants. You may choose either RareBird Consulting Services
or Syncon to create and host your website, provide a domain name, and help with other Internet
related services.
